Culture Days – September 27-29

Culture Days (September 27-29) will again be celebrated in the Town of Orangeville starting with the fourth annual Mayor's Breakfast for the Arts on September 26 at the Tony Rose Memorial Sports Centre Banquet Hall. The recipients of the Town's seven 2013 arts and culture awards will be announced at the breakfast.
The arts and culture awards nomination form is now available and nominations will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. on September 6, 2013. The definition of arts and culture is all encompassing. Not only the more recognizable forms such as visual, music, dance, film, theatre, written word are eligible to be nominated, but also culinary, design, parades, festivals, community events, etc. Anyone may nominate an individual, organization or business. Nominees must be a resident of the County of Dufferin.
The nomination form can be completed and submitted online, however any accompanying materials (CD's, DVD's) will need to be delivered to the Municipal Offices at 87 Broadway. Please include a notation on the nomination form if there are any accompanying materials. Nominees will be provided with two complimentary tickets to the Mayor's Breakfast for the Arts.
Join us as we continue celebrating the Town's sesquicentennial at the Mayors Breakfast for the Arts on September 26. See student entries from the 150th Juried Art Show and the 150th Video Projection Show. Tickets are $15.00 and are available for purchase at the Municipal Offices, 87 Broadway (cash, cheque, debit) or online (credit card only).
