Joy & Lights Weekend
Thank you to everyone who helped to make this year's Joy & Lights weekend a huge success. From the magical tree lighting to the Santa Claus parade and of course, our first ever (but not the last!) Holiday Market. The comments and compliments from locals and visitors alike were heartwarming.
The word is out that Downtown Orangeville is a special place to visit during the holiday season!

Visitor Information Centre Update
The Town of Orangeville has made the decision to close the Visitor Information Centre by December 20, 2024. While the Centre has been welcoming visitors to our community for the past several years, recent trends indicate that tourists are finding information about Orangeville in new and innovative ways. Use of technology is increasing and there is greater engagement with online resources and planning tools even before travelers arrive in Orangeville.
Visitors can continue to find information about Orangeville and the surrounding area in a variety of ways:
· Visit LoveOrangeville.ca
· Follow Orangeville Tourism on Instagram and Facebook
· Pick up printed visitor information from the exterior of 200 Lakeview Court (lower level) or from the downtown directory located at 89 Broadway (beside TD Bank)
· Visit the Economic Development and Culture office, Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (closed 12 to 1 p.m.)
Local tourism-related businesses, organizations, and events can continue to contact the Town’s Economic Development and Culture office to:
· Request visitor guides and other printed materials to distribute to guests and customers
· Promote your event or business to visitors
· Receive support and guidance
The Visitor Information Centre has been managed by Theatre Orangeville and the Town thanks all staff members who have warmly welcomed countless visitors to our community over the years. The closure will not affect the Theatre Orangeville’s Administrative Office. It will remain at 200 Lakeview Court (lower level) and in-person box office services will continue to be offered at the Town Hall Opera House Box Office at 87 Broadway, during regular operating hours.
Fostering tourism in our community remains a priority for the Town of Orangeville and this decision reinforces our commitment to finding new and effective ways to connect with visitors.

Speaking of meaningful gifts...please consider supporting a collaboration between Headwaters Food and Farming Alliance (HFFA), The Orangeville Food Bank (OFB) and Branching Out Support Services (BOSS). Your purchase of freshly baked, vegan granola benefits our community through the work of HFFA, and offers neurodiverse workers the opportunity to share their skills and earn an income.
Please contact Rebecca at f2s@hffa.ca for purchasing and pick up/delivery options.
