Dear Friends, Cody Gillies is a 23-year-old from Orangeville who is on Day 8 of consecutively running the full length of the Bruce Trail–from Tobermory to Niagara.
Why? Born at Headwaters Health Care Centre as a preemie, his goal is to raise $25,000 or more to help our local hospital to provide the best care to our community, especially our children.
Astonishingly, Cody is currently beyond the halfway point having covered 592 km and going strong.
Cody will be in the Orangeville area later today (please read on for where/when)
He started Sept 23 and has been running an average of 75-80km each day since (= double marathon every day for 8 days)
He has raised over $14,000 so far for new hospital equipment at Headwaters Health Care Centre–an expense not covered by government tax $$.
Please support Cody…
