The Annual Tree Lighting & Joy and Lights Starlight Shopping event will start at 5:30pm on Friday November 17th and will include the Joy Book Kick-off where you’ll be able to DOUBLE your stamps when you make purchases at participating businesses! While you’re shopping enjoy the roving light show and character stroll! Then join Downtown businesses for Winter Window Wonderland where you’ll see businesses showcase their winter decorating talents. Bring your kids and watch Steve Baker’s Merry Magic Show, hear David Nairn’s reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, and enjoy musical performances from Elizabeth Dubois, TOYS choir, and other special musical guests. Witness the magic of the Tree Lighting Ceremony with Santa and special guests followed by visits with Santa Claus on Second Street! Start writing your Christmas List now because Santa Claus is coming to town!

Tree Lighting Ceremony led by Town Crier Andrew Welch and Santa Claus!  Season's Greetings from local dignitaries including Hon. Sylvia Jones, MPP; Mayor Lisa Post; and OBIA Chair Mike Beattie.

Santa Claus Parade

On November 18th at 5:00pm the Orangeville Santa Claus Parade will be coming around town.  Complete with colourful floats, joyful characters, merry community members, and the jolly ole’ elf himself, Santa Claus, this annual parade filled with festive lights and bursting with holiday cheer is sure to bring joy to faces young and old alike. Come Downtown early to enjoy pre-parade entertainment and double Joy Book stamps when you make a purchase at participating businesses.

Saturday, November 18th

All Day - Double Your Joy Book Stamps at participating Downtown businesses!

4:15 pm - Jolly pre-parade entertainment begins on Broadway

5:00pm - Santa Claus Parade begins on First Street at Hansen Blvd.
