Your Downtown Directory Listing

As you may know, Downtown Orangeville launched its new brand recently, which includes a whole new website! If you haven’t visited our new website yet you can explore it at https://downtownorangeville.ca/.  As a member of the OBIA, your business is automatically eligible for inclusion in the Downtown business directory and we want to ensure your information is correct so customers can find your business quickly, and that the information contained in your listing is accurate.

Please take a few minutes and go to https://downtownorangeville.ca/businesses/ to check out your businesses listing and ensure that:

  • You are satisfied with your businesses current photo (new photos are welcome!  For best results, your new photo should be .91/1 aspect ratio or copped to 1200x627px to ensure that nothing important is cropped off or hidden)
  • Your business description is compelling and accurate
  • Your location, contact info, and website address are up to date
  • Your social media handles are included and correct
  • Send us a list of your important business tags (ie. the types of things or services you provide such as “instruments”, “jewellery, “vegetarian”, “bookkeeping”) so people can find you using the tag search function.

If any changes are required you can fill out the online form found at the bottom of your listing page: https://downtownorangeville.ca/request-a-change/ or contact Eve at ambassador@downtownorangeville.ca with any updates you’d like to make!

Please note that the downtownorangeville.ca website’s google ranking may be higher than your own business’ ranking, so it’s really important that your business listing on the downtownorangeville.ca site is accurate because it may be the first one that a potential customer sees!
