Timing of Meetings

OBIA Board Meetings take place in person at 7 am on the third Thursday of each month (with the exception of August).*

Better Together Task Force meetings take place in person at 8:00 am on the second Tuesday of each month (with the exception of August).*

OBIA Annual General Meetings take place in late January or early February at 7 pm* (Location/Format TBA.)

Special Meetings of the Board of Management or Task Force will be called to deal with urgent matters. Notice of these meetings will be posted on this webpage.

OBIA meetings are open to the public to attend. Meeting locations may change from time to time. Meeting locations will be posted on the agendas.
As per the Municipal Act, closed or in-camera sessions may be called.
Public participation (comments, questions) is permitted when arranged in advance with OBIA staff by 5 pm on the day preceding the meeting.
These comments/questions along with your name will be part of the public record and will be included in meeting minutes.
Questions or concerns arising from the meeting will be followed-up via email or phone call.
Delegations can be arranged with 7 days advance notice.
Meeting Minutes are available upon request.
