Outdoor Farmers’ Market Opening Day Celebration May 7th!

Join us for opening day of the outdoor Farmers’ Market on Saturday May 7th from 8am to 1pm!   Thanks to fewer COVID restrictions this year, the Market will be moving back to its’ original home on Second Street. This location is preferred by marketgoers AND enables us to have MORE great vendors!

We have an exciting opening day planned that includes face painting, a balloon artist, bucket rides courtesy of Orangeville Hydro, live music, and large family games in the park – all free to enjoy!    Our good friends at Branching Out Support Services will be delivering posters to Downtown businesses soon - we hope you will encourage your customers to stop by!

Please note that there will be NO Market on Saturday April 30th as we prepare to transition from the indoor Winter Market to the Second Street location.

Mother's day promotions

Mother’s Day is coming up soon on May 8th!   Are you offering something special for Mother’s Day this year?  A gift bundle, a treatment special, a Mother’s Day brunch?    Don’t forget to:

Orangeville Community Improvement Plan (CIP) Update Notice of Public Meeting Monday May 9th

The Town of Orangeville is working on a new Community Improvement Plan (CIP) to facilitate and encourage economic growth, sustainable development, and enhancement of underutilized areas.  This could be a very important document for our Downtown because it makes recommendations on Façade Grants and other financial incentives for business and property owners.  The plan can be found here: Draft Community Improvement Plan

Members of the Public are invited to attend a public meeting and offer their comments.  Instructions for making a delegation to council or submitting comments can also be found as part of the notice.
