If you have any Downtown Gift Certificates or Coupons that were redeemed at your store, please email Julia (
ambassador@downtownorangeville.ca) and she will collect them from you and issue your re-imbursement via cheque or Visa payment. Please ensure that a copy of the original transaction receipt is attached.
Open Sundays - Good News Story
We have been encouraging shoppers to come Downtown on Sundays and so far the response has been very positive! Happy customers and tourists, and record sales reported from several of you on Sundays! While we recognize that this is not possible for all of you, if you have been thinking about opening Sundays, now is a great time to try it! The nomination deadline for the Town of Orangeville's 2020 Arts and Culture Awards has been extended to Wednesday, September 9.
This year's awards provide a unique opportunity to support the creative sector and feature the many ways it has helped the community to cope and thrive during these unprecedented times. Nominators are encouraged to think beyond traditional artistic ventures and consider how arts and culture have been presented, taught, and enjoyed in new and different ways. |

How can I nominate?
The simple nomination form is available for completion online. Anyone may complete a nomination form. Self-nominations are accepted and nominator information is confidential. There are eight different award categories: |

Who is eligible?
The definition of arts and culture is wide-reaching and can include visual, music, dance, film, theatre, or written mediums, but also embraces culinary arts, design, parades, festivals, and community events.
Past award recipients are not eligible to be nominated for the same award; however past nominees are eligible to be nominated again. Nominees must be residents of the County of Dufferin.
Nominees will have the opportunity to provide further information to the judges and will be contacted by the Town for next steps.
What is the deadline?
Nominations will now be accepted until Wednesday, September 9 at 4 p.m. Please help us spread the word about this unique opportunity to recognize deserving recipients. Forward this email to everyone who may be interested in completing a nomination. |
