#orangevillecares: Snap a Selfie for the Food Bank

There’s one thing we know for sure about Downtown Orangeville - this community really cares!

We have been inspired by so many of you who have partnered with charitable organizations to give back to the community this Holiday season and we wanted to find a way to give back too!

From now until December 31st, share your Downtown selfie with us and we’ll donate $2 to the Orangeville Food Bank!

C’mon Orangeville!  Show us your smiles and let’s fill some tummies and some hearts this Christmas!

How to share:

  • Snap a selfie of yourself Downtown enjoying a meal, shopping, or amongst the seasonal décor such as the Town Christmas tree & polar bear chair
  • Share your photo on Instagram or Facebook
  • Tag us @downtownoville and use hashtag #orangevillecares .
  • Every photo with hashtag #orangevillecares = a $2 donation!*

*up to a maximum of $500

We are continuing our Joy & Lights celebration with live music on Saturdays!  Every Saturday leading up to Christmas, a local artist will perform live at Broadway Music, 229 Broadway, from 2pm-4pm.

The performances will stream live on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/broadwaymusicorangeville .

Grab your laptop & speakers, click the live stream on the Broadway Music Facebook page, and you can play the performances in-store for your customers to enjoy.

Holiday Window Decorating Contest

That’s it!

Winter Parking

Winter parking restrictions are now in effect!

Attention Restaurant owners & managers, please inform your evening customers that they cannot leave their vehicles overnight on the street or in the public parking lots UNLESS they are parked in the designated overnight winter parking spaces.

The public parking lot behind the Health Unit and the large public parking lot on the south side of Broadway across from Town Hall both have designated overnight winter parking spaces.

The Town will be issuing tickets regardless of whether or not it has snowed, and no one wants customers to get a ticket!   Thank you in advance for your help in this matter!

Have a great weekend everyone!   Don’t forget, the Winter Market is happening EVERY Saturday this year at Town Hall (closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day).  Hope to see you there!
