Kin Club Santa Claus Parade
The Kin Club of Orangeville will host its’ annual Santa Claus parade on
Saturday November
13th, from 4:30 - 6:30 pm. This year's theme is A Holly Jolly Christmas.
We are still waiting for confirmation regarding the parade route and road closure hours and will share the information as soon as we can. In the past, Broadway from Sherbourne to First Street, Hansen Rd and First Street were all closed for the parade from 3 pm - 7 pm (approx.). The road closure times may be bit different this year due to the earlier start time and we have heard that the parade may run opposite to the normal route this year (starting at Rotary Park and ending at Hanson Rd. instead of the other way around) Please rest assured that we will let you know as soon as everything has been confirmed.
Downtown Orangeville Holiday Events
Due to Covid-19 there will be no Tractor Parade of Lights or Moonlight Magic this year. The OBIA Board made the difficult decision to cancel major events for 2021 back in June when planning normally begins for these large-scale events.
The good news is that we’re planning several other exciting ways to celebrate the magic of the season and attract customers to our beautiful Downtown for the Holidays, including: The Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, a Holiday Shopping Passport, Merry Sunday Shopping, window decorating contest and more! Stay tuned for details after Halloween!
