Theatre Orangeville 50/50 Raffle

Theatre Orangeville’s popular 50/50 raffle is back!  Can you help raise awareness of this great fundraising campaign by spreading the word and displaying a poster at your location?   Please read on for a special message from Theatre Orangeville. We are so excited to announce, that our popular 50/50 raffle is back, this time available exclusively online. As you know, the past 18 months have been extraordinarily challenging for the performing arts but we have begun our return and are committed to coming back stronger and more versatile than ever by offering live in-person programing in combination with live-streaming opportunities to meet any changes in public health protocols. As a valued supporter of Theatre Orangeville, we are hoping that you will help us promote this great fundraising campaign by getting the word out to the community by displaying some of our marketing collateral or sharing this announcement. We have a couple of pieces of marketing collateral that we are hoping you may be able to use: - Posters: Hang near your front entrance - Postcards:  Display on your counter or put in your bags with puchase Please contact Teena Avery if you would like to help and let her know how many posters/postcards you would like! Email: tavery@theatreorangeville.ca The 50/50 draw will take place on November 1, 2021.  You must be 18 years of age or older at the time of purchase and the tickets must be purchased in the Province of Ontario You can also try your luck at winning, the prize is at $1445.00 and growing daily. Pumpkin Pop-Up Event Saturday October 30th

Thank you so much to everyone who has registered for our pumpkin decorating contest!  We now have over 30 members participating!    Just imagine, pumpkins as far as the eye can see!  Thanks to your participation, this is sure to be an extra special Halloween for all the kids (and kids at heart!). We’ll be sending out more details soon, including a graphic that you can use on social media to encourage people to come out and vote for YOUR pumpkin!  Don’t forget that for every ballot cast, we’ll be donating $1 to the men’s homeless shelter (up to a maximum of $500) so make sure to share photos of your pumpkin on social media (in-progress and on the day-of) so we can spread the word and raise as much $ as possible! We have extended the registration deadline by a few days until Tuesday October 12.  If you have not already done so, please email ambassador@downtownorangeville.ca to confirm your participation!  

Pumpkin Decorating Contest

This Halloween, we’re holding a Pumpkin Decorating Contest for BIA members only!  Display your scary, your hairy, your stylish and crazy pumpkins for judging on October 30th and you could win BIG!  It’s simple as 1, 2, 3...Create, Display, Win!
  1. Create: Each business will be responsible for purchasing their own pumpkin.  Register by October 7th and receive $10 Downtown Dollars to help offset the cost of your pumpkin and supplies.
  2. Display: Set up your pumpkin outside your store on Saturday, October 30th so the public can vote on it.  For every vote you receive, the OBIA will donate $1 to the Displaced Men’s Transitional Home, Orangeville’s new homeless shelter for men.
  3. Win: First, second and third place winners will be awarded marketing bucks & a donation to the men’s shelter will be made in your business name.   What are marketing bucks?   Advertise your business in print, radio, or on social media, submit your receipts to the OBIA and we will re-imburse you the full prize $ amount.
