The Orangeville Public Library, in partnership with the BIA, has launched a new StoryWalk along Broadway as part of the TD Summer Reading Program.
14 storefronts were selected to showcase one page from the children’s book: “Sometimes I feel Like a Fox” by Canadian author & illustrator Danielle Daniel.
Daniel’s journey into artmaking and book publishing has gone hand in hand with what she has learned and continues to learn about her Indigenous ancestry and her relationship with the land (she lives in Mnidoo Mis – Manitoulin Island – Ontario).
Begin at the library and enjoy reading the story from cover to cover as you make your way up and down Broadway, between First & Second Street.
Maps for participating in this fun, family activity are available to pick up at the Orangeville Library and participating businesses.
What do YOU feel like today? A fox? A bear? A butterfly?
