FAQs for Vendors

How are vendors selected for the Market?

Market staff and a vendor selection committee (a varied group of veteran Orangeville Market vendors) meet to select the Summer Market Season vendors based on the criteria set out in the Market Rules & Regulations including the Health Board requirement of maintaining a minimum of 51% farmers/producers versus other food/non-food vendors. When possible, we reserve one vendor space per week during the outdoor season for not-for-profits, charities, community groups to connect with the community. Winter Market vendors are chosen by Market staff and are primarily summer market vendors.

What are the costs to participate in the Market?
